Grants of up to $5,000 to New Jersey member education foundations that are seeking funding to implement high-quality projects in the fine arts and/or performing arts in a local school or district. These grants are intended to support requests for: materials, projects, tools, and equipment requests; special programming (e.g. visiting artists, assembly programs, and field trips, especially if longer-term impact is anticipated); shipping and handling and installation costs; and professional development in support of proposed projects to ensure the project's successful implementation.
NJEFP will not fund:
• "The necessary" tools/equipment that should be provided for in the school budget, standard classroom supplies, or maintenance and facilities costs.
• Travel expenses for district employees.
• Salaries or stipends for district employees or substitute teachers.
• Administration fee for Applicant.
