Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF)
Grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 to Hillsborough County, Florida K-12 public school teachers and administrators to create fun and innovative educational programs to help students achieve academic success. Programs can be in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), literacy, arts, career and technical, social studies, and agriculture.
Examples of some acceptable budget items for classroom projects include:
- Art supplies: paint, mosaic tile, paper
- Garden supplies: seeds, plants, soil
- Literacy resources: books
- Musical instruments: drums, sheet music
- Technology Equipment such as electronic readers, laptops, printer, projectors or white boards.

Innovative projects are available from $250 to $2,500.
The projects are intended to run during the 2017-18 school year.
Public school teachers and administrators of grades K-12 are eligible to apply.
2017-18 Classroom Innovative Project applications will be accepted Monday, September 25, 2017 - November 13, 2017. Approved projects will be funded by January 2018.
Applications will be scored and ranked by category. Available funding will determine the number of recipients. If selected, applicants will be notified by email, then funds will be transferred via internal school accounts.
