Grants generally ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 to Granville, Ohio public school teachers, administrators, and other staff members who are seeking financial assistance to implement innovative projects that address important needs, challenges, or concerns that are unique to the applicant's school. These grants are intended to support worthwhile projects that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to be funded through the district's budget.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Site Grants are typically awarded between $1,000 and $4,000, but, if exceptional projects exist, additional funding can occur.

Term of Contract:

Funded projects must be implemented during the 2014/15 school year.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Administrators and other school staff members are also eligible.

Projects previously funded by the GEF are not eligible for additional monies unless new technology and/or updates make them different in purpose and scope from previous projects.

Pre-Application Information:

The application form is attached below. Please forward your proposal via mail, email, or drop-off to one of the addresses listed below.

Each application must be signed by the district superintendent (and the District Technology Coordinator if it has a technology component), completed fully with an explanation of the specific need, and submitted by the given deadline.

The application can also include any supplemental information pertinent to the project or endorsements of the project by fellow teachers, etc.

Once the application is reviewed, one may be contacted to answer additional questions by the committee.
