Grants of up to $1,000 to Cedar Hill, Texas pre-K through 12th grade public school teachers and other school personnel who are seeking financial assistance to develop innovative educational projects that stimulate thought and advance new approaches to teaching in all curriculum areas. Campuses are not limited in the number of grants awarded. However, only one grant may be awarded per Project Chairperson.

Applicant Eligibility:
- Grants are limited to Cedar Hill ISD established curriculum framework for professional personnel working directly with children.
- Volunteer-based and non-academic extracurricular activities are excluded.
- Applicants may apply individually or as a grade-level, subject-matter, or cross-campus team. In the case of team-based proposals, a project chairperson must be designated to assume overall administrative responsibility for the project. All related correspondence will be directed to that individual.

Eligible and Ineligible Projects/Expenses: All grants must identify and address needs, challenges, and concerns unique to the respective school campuses. The identified areas must reflect the mission, statement of philosophy, or campus improvement plans. Funds may not replace normal funding from tax-based sources. Grants will not cover incentives or rewards, honorariums, or travel.
