Grants ranging from $100 to $1,000 to Pre-K through eighth grade teachers, administrators, and other staff members working at the Kent Center School in Connecticut who are seeking financial assistance for innovative and effective projects/programs that aim to achieve educational excellence for local students. Through these grants, the Foundation seeks primarily to help cover the direct costs of projects (not salaries).
Grants from the Foundation will not replace public dollars for the school district.
Possible projects include, but are not limited to independent study, new programs, visiting speakers, professional development for teachers, library resources, class field trips, and scientific, athletic, or technical equipment.
