Grants ranging from $200 to $2,000 to New Mexico non-profits, tribal organizations, academic institutions, community groups, and partner organizations engaged in youth-oriented environmental education and leadership training and/or animal rehabilitation. Letters of Interest will be accepted from March 1-14, 2014. Eligible Counties include: Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, or Torrence.
Recently funded grants for creative and practical projects went to Root 66 Community Gardens and East Mountain High School Foundation.
Talking Talons Youth Leadership (TTYL), a not-for-profit youth development organization and injured animal sanctuary and rehabilitation group dedicated to building knowledge, skills and positive attitudes in our youth.
