Grants to Northfield Area, Minnesota nonprofit organizations and government agencies to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Applications are invited for effective programs in the areas of health, education, financial stability, and basic needs.

Applicants should address a demonstrated need, explain how the organization helps solve the need and how it measures results, and quantify the organization’s success. Northfield Area United Way will consider quantifiable outcomes, not simply activities, when reviewing applications.

Priority consideration will be given to programs that serve the greatest need and help the greatest number of community members in the program areas of focus. United Way looks for applicants to demonstrate how their programs serve those in need and solve problems in the local community.
