Grants to Georgia nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and governmental entities for housing programs in eligible regions. Funding is intended to assist individuals and families transition into permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness. Funding is also intended for programs providing emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, and homelessness prevention. Programs should benefit Gwinnett County.
The purpose of the ESG program is to assist individuals and families to quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness. ESG funds may be used for eligible activities intentionally and specifically focused on housing. Eligible activities must fall within the parameters of three (3) components:
All proposed projects must serve individuals or families with household incomes at or below 30%.
