Arc of Greater Plymouth and United Way of Greater Plymouth County
Grants of $500 to Plymouth, Massachusetts K-12 educators for professional development, classroom activities, or supplies that promote the inclusion of children with disabilities. Funds may be used for classroom supplies to enhance the inclusion of students during class activities, to purchase outside presentations to enhance inclusion within the classroom, or for professional development in the area of inclusive education.
In the application, educators must detail the proposed activity and why they think the inclusion of students with disabilities will promote better outcomes.
The guiding principles that guide The Funding Source's mission are that individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities are people first, and that they are to be respected, treated with dignity, and valued for who they are and what they can accomplish. The Arc is a private, non-profit organization committed to providing creative, flexible, and diversified supports for people with developmental/intellectual disabilities and their families.
