Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,000 to USA youth archery clubs that are funding source members to help cover the cost of purchasing equipment and coaching certifications. Eligible items for purchase may include stands, general supplies, target butts, and archery equipment. The goal of this program is to help archery clubs expand and improve their infrastructure.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

USA Archery distributes grants to benefit USA Archery JOAD Clubs in good standing. The club must be a USA Archery JOAD club and have a current membership with USA Archery.

The club must have at least one Level II, or above, current certified instructor.

Applicants do not need to be a qualified 501(c) 3 organization in order to receive funding; however, the club must have its own unique entity established and an Employee ID Tax Number assigned by the IRS (separate from any other for-profit business).

The intent of this grant is long term equipment usage; please do not request target faces and high-performance equipment that would benefit individual archers.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant Application Deadline: Request may be submitted at any time. USA Archery will review grants two times per year. Application must be submitted for review by April 3 and August 14, 2017

Successful applications will be notified within 3 weeks of acceptance.

The club can only be awarded funds once a year. The club may re-apply for a grant the following year.

Applicants must have a two-year strategic plan for the use of the funds and equipment.
