Picayune Rancheria, in conjunction with Madera County
Grants starting at $25,000 to Madera County, California non-profits, government agencies and public schools for projects that will have a long-term benefit for the community. Past funds have been awarded to build playgrounds, upgrade libraries, remodel community facilities, implement educational programs, and improve medical services throughout the community.
Special consideration will be given to those applications that indicate the applicant will be matching the grant funds for a particular project. However, matching funds are not mandatory.

According to the cooperative agreement, grant recipients must expend funds within two years.
Qualified applicants will be limited to government agencies, public schools, and non-profit organizations located in Madera County.
Please note that the original deadline of March 1 has been extended to June 30.
All applicants must use the 2014 grant application or it will not be considered.
