Grants of up to $15,000 to New York cultural nonprofit organizations and grants of up to $2,500 to local artists to enhance cultural services and programs in eligible regions. Funding is intended to improve the city parks, facilities, and neighborhoods where activities occur. Priority will be given to brand new initiatives not previously funded in a past grant cycle. The grants also help organizations to build their capacity and to contribute to the City’s community building and economic development efforts. Grants should benefit Yonkers.
The Yonkers Cultural Arts Initiative provides project grants in two categories:
Project/activity must have a confirmed project location at the time of application.

Organizations may request between $1,000 – $15,000. If you are applying for more than one grant, total request cannot exceed $15,000.
Artists may request between $1,000 – $2,500.
Projects must take place between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
