Grants to Ontario nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for cultural events that benefit the local community. Some applicants are required to attend an information session before submitting a proposal. Funding is intended to support operational expenses associated with providing a clean and safe venue for the presentation of public arts, culture, and heritage celebrations and festivals. Funded activities must serve the residents of Mississauga.
The Cultural Festivals and Celebrations (CFC) Grant program is designed to align with the vision of Mississauga’s Culture Master Plan by supporting a range of activities reflecting the City’s many cultural traditions and practices. The City is committed to the long-term growth and sustainability of culture and the quality of life of its resident.
