Grants of up to $10,000 to Minnesota organizations for activities that help create a sustainable future. Funding priorities include environmental quality, protection and education, health and wellness, organic and sustainable agriculture, community involvement and capacity building, as well as cooperative-related activities. Funds may be used for general operating support, project/program support, startup-up costs, technical assistance, capital, and other needs.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Up to $10,000.

Term of Contract:

The majority of proposed work must occur in the 2015 calendar year beginning January 1, 2015.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

-Organizations need not be 501(c)(3) non-profits.
-Organizations should be non-partisan, non-sectarian, and engaged in activities that address the grant focus.

Pre-Application Information:

Please use the Minnesota Common Grant Application Form attached below to apply.

You may also include the following attachments:
-Letters of support from key organization or project partners.
-Letter of recommendation for key staff or Board members, especially for start-up organizations.
-Copy of Memorandum of Understanding from key project partners.

Submit four (4) full copies of your total grant package, with the exception of the audited financial statements, for which you can submit a single copy.

Applications are due by Friday, April 25, 2014 at the address below. This is the final date by which the application must be at the store, whether mailed or hand delivered. An email will be sent confirming receipt of your application.
