Pennsylvania (PA) Department of Community and Economic Development
Grants to Pennsylvania government agencies, IHEs, businesses, and watershed organizations for projects to prevent flood damage throughout the State. Grant funds may be used for construction projects, land acquisition, engineering studies, security measures, debris removal, and costs of permits, engineering, and inspection.
Projects authorized by a flood protection authority, the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) or the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) or identified by a local government for flood mitigation are eligible for the program.
Funds may be used by the applicant to pay for any of the following project costs:

Grants shall be awarded to eligible applicants for projects with a total cost of $50,000 or more. Grants shall not exceed $500,000 for any project.
