Grants of up to $3,000 to North Carolina teachers working in K-12 public schools and community colleges in eligible counties. Funding will be provided for specific technology requests that benefit students in the classroom. Eligible requests can include items such as computers, digital cameras, scanners, and software.
For the purposes of these grants, eligible counties include Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance, and Wake counties.
Areas of interest to the judges are originality, creativity, innovation, grammar, punctuation, and thoroughness.

Grants are to be used during the 2017-2018 school year.
Community college teachers and public school teachers serving grades K-12 in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance, and Wake counties are eligible to apply.
The deadline for accepting applications is September 13, 2017 by 5:00 p.m. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.
Winners will be notified mid-October 2017 and money will be awarded no later than November.
If you have received a CTA grant in the past, in order to be eligible to receive a 2017 grant, you must provide a one page typed summary of the project outlining how the project proved successful and/or benefited your students. Photos and samples of projects are welcomed and encouraged.
