Grants of $1,000 to Livermore, California organizations to increase tourism and benefit the local economy. Funding is intended to support activities and events with a minimum of 1,000 participants that promote local wineries and businesses in the City's downtown area. Preference will be given to requests for events that provide enrichment.

Grants will be awarded to organizations with events that directly benefit Livermore and generate the largest attendance. Funds will be granted only for expenses related to the event, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, transportation, safety and security, rental of equipment or venue, and miscellaneous supplies.

Grant Period: July 1, 2019 – June 15, 2020

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants will be awarded to organizations that successfully demonstrate that their event will directly benefit Livermore downtown businesses and local wineries.

Funds will not be granted for items that will be given away or sold in connection with the event, or for salaries associated with event planning and administration or for speaker or guest honorariums.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due June 14, 2019 by 5:00 P.M.

Groups must demonstrate that at least fifty percent (50%) of the event expenses will be generated from other sources.

Grant payments are issued after the event.
