Grants of up to $2,000 to Rockford, Illinois non-profit organizations for programs and projects that celebrate the City's history, inspire the local community to value its traditions, preserve historical integrity, and invest in Rockford's heritage to help it grow. Possible projects include workshops, tours, surveys, exhibitions, events, and promotional materials and projects that highlight the value of historic preservation and its importance in the City.
The following criteria must be addressed in your application:
-Be collaborative in nature
-Inspire others regarding the value of historic preservation
-Be a catalyst for historic preservation
-Leverage other resources
-Priority will be given to collaborative projects
