Grants to Central Texas nonprofit organizations to enhance local communities. The Foundation focuses its giving on programs and partnerships in the following three areas: youth engagement, honoring military families and assisting those in need. Eligible applicants must be located and serve the Central Texas area.

Grants will vary in amount and quantity but will range from several hundred to several thousand dollars.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any registered nonprofit organization or charitable group in the Central Texas area, and services the Central Texas area are invited to apply. Applicants are asked to provide proof of charitable status in the grant application. Even though all Central Texas area organizations are invited to apply, the Texas Stars Foundation focuses on programs that comply with its mission statement.

The mission of the Texas Stars Foundation focuses on the greater Austin community and military children throughout the United States; at this time it is unable to fund projects outside of the central Texas region.

All groups seeking grant funding from the Texas Stars Foundation must meet the following criteria:
- The organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
- The organization must comply with the Texas Stars Foundation mission
- The organization must be located and serve the Central Texas area
- The organization must not be connected with religious or political entities
- Grants are not awarded to individual sports teams or leagues

The Texas Stars Foundation does not issue grants for salaries, operational utilities, or underwritings or leagues.

Please return grant applications and all corresponding documents by August 2, 2019.

Please note all grant applicants will be notified by December 2019 of their application status.
