Grants of up to $750 to Mississippi individual artists, art instructors, and art groups for projects and professional development opportunities in Meridian and Lauderdale County. Applicants must have at least one year of performing experience in music, theater, dance, literature, storytelling, or visual arts.
Funding categories include:
1. Artist Fellowships: Support training and professional development or help underwrite the costs of creating new works of exceptional quality.
2. Instructor/Student Support: Art instructors may apply for funding for students.
3. Project Support. Support of a specific program or endeavor. Projects with an emphasis on education are strongly encouraged.
