Grant Description

Awards of $2,500 to USA and international educators to support exceptional design and execution of a curriculum unit based on In2Books or an e-Pals project and the Common Core State Standards, inspiring students to transform knowledge into creative action.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants must be a member of the International Reading Association (IRA). More information regarding membership may be found here: http://www.reading.org/general/Membership.aspx

Applicants may apply for more than one IRA research award. However, applicants are limited to one research award per year.

The applicant must be a teacher mentor or a teacher implementing In2Books in the classroom.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome and provided with copies of reviews in March 2015.

Recipient of award is encouraged to submit an article for publication in an IRA journal or submit a proposal for presentation at an IRA annual convention.
