Grants to Miami-Dade County, Florida nonprofit organizations to provide underserved children with high-quality arts and science summer programs. Applicants are required to attend the November 30 or December 5 workshops. Programs must be provided at little or no cost to attendees.

Funding through the SAS-C Grants Program is intended to augment established, high quality programs, providing more children with the opportunity to participate in cultural arts and science summer camps.

Priority attention is given to projects that address children whose ability to participate in such programs may be limited by geography, economics or disability, projects in which unduplicated children underwritten by SAS-C funding will attend the camp program for four weeks or more, and projects that are able to expand program offerings and/or capacity in order to reach a broader population of underserved children and youth.
