Grants to Clinton County, Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations to benefit local residents through specific programs, capital improvements, or equipment purchases. Past funding has been used to benefit Clinton County through programs for libraries, youth groups, the elderly, museums, special needs children, and medical and fire groups.

Specific use funds are available to advance recreational, cultural and material uplifting of the elderly.

Additionally, suggested use funds are available each year for the following:

-Western Clinton County organizations, especially in Noyes Township;
-Agricultural projects;
-Churches with emergency needs in Porter and Lamar;
-Organizations that benefit Mackeyville and Lamar Townships;
-SPCA or similar use.

Discretionary use funds are available each year for any qualifying organization that benefits the residents of Clinton County.

Term of Contract:

Grants are normally made for one year, however commitments can be made for multi-year projects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered, it is necessary for the charity to provide services to Clinton County residents. It is also required for the charity be designated a 501(c)(3) charity by the IRS and the current 501(c)(3) IRS exemption letter must be submitted with the grant application.

Pre-Application Information:

To be reviewed, the application must be postmarked no later than December 15, 2017. The application will then be considered at the January 25, 2018 meeting. The results of the review process will be immediately communicated to you within a week of the January 25, 2018 meeting.

The Foundation looks favorably on matching fund applications, where grant dollars attract money from other sources.
