Grants to Colorado nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents. Applicants must contact the Funding Source to obtain an application. Funding is intended for a wide range of programming, but preference will be given to organizations proposing to provide services and outcomes that address self-sufficiency, at-risk youth, suicide prevention, senior programming, and gaps in medical and mental health services. Eligible programs should benefit residents of Douglas County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 organization that serves Douglas County residents.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Estimated application process
- Douglas County staff will begin reviewing grant applications in March.
- Staff may contact organizations for clarification, additional materials, etc., as needed, during the review process.
- Staff will determine final funding recommendations and present those to the Board of County Commissioners in Spring 2021.
- Checks will be distributed to awarded organizations in Summer 2021.
