Grants to Douglas County, Colorado nonprofit organizations for health and human services programs that benefit underserved and at-risk populations. Funding may be requested for a broad range of services that improve the quality of life for local residents. Applicants may provide services to at-risk children, youth, and vulnerable adults, as well as safety net services, with an emphasis on self-sufficiency.

The grant selection process places greater emphasis on the following criteria:
-Be a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 tax-exempt organization;
-Be preferably located in and serve residents of Douglas County; and
-Demonstrate strong partnerships with organizations located in Douglas County; and
-Provide safety net services with an emphasis on self-sufficiency; and
-Provide a service(s) that support at-risk children, youth and vulnerable adults with demonstrateable results that impact the local community
Grant applications are accepted annually by January 31 for grants that will be awarded by the end of the first quarter in the same year.
