Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $1,500 to Linn County, Iowa K-12 public school teachers, educational specialists or school staff for creative and innovative projects that support classroom educational objectives. Funds may be requested for projects that are outside of the school's normal budget.

Project must begin after October 23, 2014, and conclude before June 1, 2015.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants must be full time employees at a public school in Linn County.

Not Funded:
-Field trips
-Summer programs
-Expenses that have occurred or will occur during the grant review process
-Cost of items normally included in the school’s general operating budget
-Curriculum revision
-Educator salaries or continuing education
-Equipment purchases, unless equipment is an essential component of proposed project

Pre-Application Information:

Successful FFEE grant applications describe projects that implement creative and innovative teaching approaches and techniques in the classroom. Applications may not exceed three pages.
