Grants to Minnesota nonprofit organizations for charitable, educational, and scientific programs in the Austin area. Past grants have helped fund a new community recreation center, the public school system, the Salvation Army, higher education institutions, and the local YMCA and United Way chapters.

- Organizations must be located in and/or directly affect the Austin, Minnesota area.

-Projects which attempt to influence legislation or to organizations whose activities are substantially in the area of propagandizing or influencing legislation.

The Hormel Foundation is currently accepting applications for the 2018 funding year starting June 1, 2017, ending September 1, 2017.
The Hormel Foundation budget committee will review all applications and recommend acceptance. Applicants will be notified of their application acceptance status via e-mail.
