Awards to Ontario, Canada multi-sectoral collaborative groups that have a demonstrated commitment to planning and action around programs and services for families with children aged 0-12 across the Waterloo Region. The award is to be used to support collaborative groups in developing/strengthening their capacity. A range of needs can be supported, including events, technology, space, consulting, and more.

Goals:
-Help groups go beyond the early stages of working together in order to reach the next level of collaboration.
-Help strengthen existing collaboratives so that they become models of collaboration in the community.
-Promote community-wide planning (Waterloo Region)
-Enhance multi-sectoral endeavors
-Emphasize the value of prevention and early intervention

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

-Groups applying must have already made a commitment to and demonstrated efforts to work collaboratively to further their work in a given area.
-The group must be multi-sectorial.
