Grants of up to $25,000 to Virginia nonprofit organizations and public agencies in eligible areas to promote the health and well-being of residents in local communities. Funding is intended for programs and activities within the focus areas of behavioral health, substance abuse, diabetes, nutrition, physical activity, and access to healthcare. Eligible programs benefit the residents of Augusta County, Waynesboro, Staunton, and surrounding areas.
High priority will be given to collaborative programs involving multiple organizations and intended to make a significant impact on the area of identified need.
Augusta Health's mission—to promote the health and well-being of the local community through access to excellent care—is one that requires collaboration and partnership. Augusta Health will offer funding opportunities for programs focused on the priority areas of need identified in the most recent Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
