Merit award to a Connecticut elementary school for excellence and outstanding service to students and the community. The purpose of the award is to give public recognition to an elementary school that deserves accolades for exemplary programs, leadership, inclusion, innovation and success in meeting the needs of elementary school students.
Schools must be members of the Connecticut Association of Schools.
The school chosen will receive recognition in the media, in CAS publications, at a CAS sponsored ceremony in their community as well as a presentation in their school or district.
