Grants averaging $4,000 to Plunketts Creek area, Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations and government agencies for programs and projects that address community needs and aim to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Eligible program areas include recreation, education, and assistance to underserved populations.

This Fund was created to promote and maintain a charitable and benevolent organization in Plunketts Creek Township to assist the needy and to foster the moral, educational, recreational, and social interest of the people living in and adjacent to the Township.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Who may apply:
- Applicants must be qualified to receive tax-exempt contributions as defined by the IRS - in the vast majority of cases, applicants will be 501(c)(3) organizations or a unit of local government described in Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Applicants without 501(c)(3) status may work through another qualified 501(c)(3) organization that is willing to serve as a Fiscal Sponsor for the applicant
- Nonprofit organizations that address the needs or opportunities that enhance the quality of life within the Plunkett’s Creek area

Ineligible Requests:
Generally, no grants will be provided for:
- Annual campaigns
- Costs that were incurred prior to the anticipated grant approval date
- Endowments (unless created within the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania)
