Grants of up to $20,000 to Iowa nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools in eligible locations for projects to improve public safety. Funding is intended to improve safety for applying agencies, as well as their volunteers, employees, and clients. Funding is also intended to improve safety for the community-at-large. Projects should take place in Scott County.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant request amount: $5,000 - $20,000.

If your organization is not a 501(c)3, government entity, or school, the minimum amount the Community Foundation can award for a request is $1,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible to apply for a Coordinated Field of Interest Fund Grant, an organization must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status. Government entities and schools are eligible to apply.

The following areas or program types are not funded by application-based grant programs of the Quad Cities Community Foundation:
- Advertising or marketing campaigns
- Deficit funding or debt retirement
- Direct financial support to individuals
- Endowments
- Fundraising activities or events
- Political or lobbying activities
- Projects that are not for a charitable purpose
- Projects or events that have already been completed
- Religious or sectarian activities that attempt to convert a person to a particular faith or perspective, or social service activities that require participation in such
- Organizations or activities that do not comply with the Fund's Diversity and Non-Discrimination Policy.
