Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative
Grants to Wisconsin nonprofits in Polk and Burnett Counties for programs that improve the quality of life for local residents. Focus areas include public safety, basic human needs, healthcare, self-sufficiency, the cultural environment, community leadership, and youth social issues. Funding supports local efforts, including equipment for local fire departments, youth programs, and libraries.

Grants are awarded to local, nonprofit organizations that improve the quality of life in Polk-Burnett's service territory (see service map in Grant Coverage Areas below).
Grants are generally not awarded to individuals, or groups with religious, political or national affiliations.
Only one grant per year will be awarded to an organization.
Unless your project benefits the overall community, contributions are generally not awarded to: lobbying, political, religious, veteran, national or fraternal organizations; fundraising dinners, raffles or events; individuals; capital fund campaigns; scholarship programs; national fund drives or advertising.
Applications are accepted quarterly. Deadlines are March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1.
