Grants of $1,000 to USA elementary and middle schools and non-profit organizations to implement a before-school physical activity program intended to help get kids moving in a fun way and wake up their bodies for a day of learning. Applications are accepted on a first-come first-served basis from August 1 through October 1, so interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Funds can be used for the following:
-BOKS T-shirts
-Equipment (for BOKS program only)
-Trinkets/incentives
-Trainer stipend
-Travel to BOKS Trainings
-CPR Certification
-Supplies and materials (printing)
BOKS Lead Trainers who sign the BOKS pledge are invited to apply for the BOKS Activation Grant to support the launch of BOKS in their elementary schools.
