Grants to Missouri nonprofit organizations for activities that impact the local community in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support programs for underserved populations in the focus areas of educational, health, and human services. Special consideration is given to charitable organizations serving the needs of children or older adults. Funding is restricted to organizations in Springfield and surrounding Southwest Missouri.
The Fund will consider requests for general operating support only if the organization's operating budget is less than $1 million. The Foundation only supports capital requests, such as those for buildings, land, or major equipment, when meeting a compelling community need and offering a broad social benefit. When participating in a capital project, support is contingent on funding from other sources.
