Grants of up to $25,000 to Texas nonprofit organizations to improve the well-being of children in eligible locations. Funding is intended for organizations that provide human services with a focus on children. Organizations must be geographically located within the Texas Panhandle, Amarillo, and the vicinity.
The W.H. & Mary Ellen Cobb Charitable Trust was established to benefit local charities in the Panhandle whose mission has a strong "emphasis on helping children."
The W.H. & Mary Ellen Cobb Charitable Trust considers requests from charitable organizations whose primary focus is the provision of services that benefit children.
Applicants must be classified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
The Trust does not consider grant requests from individuals and does not support organizations attempting to influence policy through direct lobbying or any political campaigns.
The application deadline for this trust is August 1.
Decision timeframe: 3-4 months.
