Term of Contract:

Request for Proposals effective July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022.

Support will be given to new, promising programs for one year with the opportunity to reapply the following year. Repeat funding for any project is contingent upon the receipt of an evaluation of the program up to that point.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any Associated agency, local Jewish organization, congregation, national organization or coalition of organizations with programs that will benefit the Greater Baltimore Jewish community may request grants from The Blaustein Fund. National organizations need to identify a local partner.

Organizations must have their own 501(c)(3) tax status or be affiliated with a fiscal agent that is a 501(c)(3).

Organizations must have a functioning volunteer board.

Scholarships for travel to Israel will be considered only for trips that advance professional development.

Support will only be considered for increased hours for existing personnel or the cost of new hires for the particular project. The Blaustein Fund will not support existing personnel costs.

Pre-Application Information:

Deadline for submission is Friday, February 19, 2021.

Organizations will be notified of the Fund’s decisions by June 2021.

Projects that include matching funds provided by the sponsoring organization and demonstrate an organization’s ability to sustain the program beyond the grant year will be viewed favorably.

Programs that are collaborative among different organizations are encouraged.

In special circumstances, consideration will be given for organizations to submit more than one proposal.
