Grants to Pendleton, Oregon groups, nonprofits, agencies, and organizations for civic, educational, and charitable purposes. Funding is intended for projects that will most effectively assist, encourage, and promote the wellbeing of Pendleton residents.

The purpose of the Pendleton Foundation Trust is:

  • To assist civic and educational undertakings whether now supported by private gifts or public taxation.
  • To improve educational and scientific research.
  • To improve living conditions or to provide recreation or recreational grounds for all classes.
  • For such other civic or pubic purposes as will best make for the mental, moral and physical improvement of the inhabitants of the city of Pendleton.

Term of Contract:

If the funds are not used for their intended purpose within one year from the date the grant was received, they are to be immediately returned.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Those community groups, organizations, and agencies that are located within the City of Pendleton, Oregon are eligible for the Pendleton Foundation Trust grant program.

Grants may not be used as part of a general operating budget.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications may be submitted at any time during the year to be held until the board of directors meets in April and October. Applications on hand by April 1st will be considered by the Board of Directors at their meeting in April. The Foundation Board of Directors encourages the grant money to be spent with Pendleton merchants whenever possible. You must submit two competitive bids. Please obtain your bids and submit them with the application form for review by the Foundation Board.
