Grants of up to $500,000 to New York nonprofits, with a presence in New York City, for educational projects that address critical challenges within the organization. Priority focus will be given to programs that increase community access to educational and economic opportunities. Two finalists will also receive grants of $25,000.
The types of projects that are best suited to support include (but are not limited to):
- Expansion of impact through strengthening or growing an existing program
- Strategy development or planning guidance
- Analysis of a program model’s scalability
- Development of plans for launching a new program or service
- Cost-benefit analysis of launching a new program or service offering
- Landscape analysis of market opportunities
- Building internal capacity to improve overall operations and outcomes
- Efficiency and cost containment
- Development of human capital strategy and organizational design
- Metrics development and outcomes measurement
