Grants of up to $2,500 to Indiana nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions in eligible regions for projects that benefit local residents and the surrounding rural communities. Funding is intended to enhance the enjoyment and quality of life for Osgood area residents.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for a Grant from the Tarter Fund or the Herman-Crum Fund, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- Be a 501(c)(3) organization, governmental, or educational entity, or be a non-profit entity with a fiscal sponsor who is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization
- The organization must not have outstanding or delinquent grant reports (this requirement also applies to fiscal sponsors)

Pre-Application Information:

Application deadline: April 30 by 4:00 PM.

Applications will be accepted anytime during the year, but applications will be reviewed and decided on or about the 30th of May. To be considered, applications must be submitted by 4:00PM on April 30th. If this date falls on a holiday upon which the organization is closed, the deadline will be extended until 4:00PM on the subsequent Monday. Applications not received by the due date will not be considered.

The Ripley County Community Foundation understands that not everyone is technologically savvy and does not have access to broadband. If your organization is in need of a hard-copy grant report, please contact the Ripley County Community Foundation’s office.
