Grants generally ranging from $250 to $1,000 to North Carolina artists in Ashe, Wilkes, Alleghany, and Watauga counties to support a project in the disciplines of performing, inter-disciplinary, visual, and literary arts. The project must have a significant positive impact on the artist's career.
Regional artist applicants are exceptionally talented individuals pursuing their career in the arts and have completed the basic education in their respective art form. The Regional Artist Project provides financial support to developing professionals by funding a project pivotal to the advancement of their careers as artists.
The Regional Artist Project Grants might include funds for expenses in the following areas:
Please note: For projects in the area of Arts & Education or Arts & Healthcare, make sure the project most directly benefits the artist, and not the others benefiting from the project.
