Grants of up to $5,000 to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for charitable projects that meet the needs of local communities. Funding is intended for programs and activities in the focus areas of community services, food and shelter, education and literacy, sports and youth, and arts, humanities, and history. Eligible programs benefit the residents of Fayette County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for funding, organizations must:
- Be located in or provide services for Fayette County, Texas;
- Have been in existence for at least one year;
- Be a certified nonprofit organization; and
- Have a current 501(c)(3) designation by the I.R.S.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due by Friday, September 18, 2020.

Note: If applicant organization conducts a fundraiser on the same date as the TWL Annual Spring Charity Gala (held annually on the first Saturday of March), it may not be eligible for funding.

Bylaws to receive funding in the 2020-21 funding cycle will be presented to the TWL general membership at the fall meeting on October 21, 2020. A formal vote will be conducted among all eligible TWL members to assess the general memberships’ level of interest in supporting each project submission. Voting ends November 16, 2020. Applicant charities will then receive confirmation of acceptance, or rejection, for TWL 2020-21 funding consideration

Grants will be announced and distributed at the May 2021 TWL funding event.
