Grants of $500 to Massachusetts K-12 public school teachers in Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet to give students the opportunity to do projects that will inspire a life-long love and respect for the environment and planet while also encouraging creativity, critical thinking and open mindedness in the pursuit of sustainable solutions for the future.

Funding may be used for materials, one field trip, computer software and educational supplies.

Projects must be implemented between January 2 and May 15, 2015.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

K-12 Public School Teachers in the regional system who are committed to making the planet “greener ”. The regional system includes Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet.

Teachers may apply individually or in teams.
