Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for programs and services that benefit local women, children, and families. Grantees will be required to provide volunteers for the annual event organized by the Funding Source. Funding must serve clients and recipients in Northeast Tarrant County.

Applicant/Agency must be a 501(c)(3).

Submissions should include only what is requested. No extra information (notebooks, tapes, brochures, etc.) is allowed.

Requests will not be considered that fund job positions, salaries, fundraisers, administrative or office expenses, volunteer or employee recognition trips, award ceremonies, or marketing materials.

Pre-Application Information:

The 2021 grant application will open on December 1st and close on January 16, 2022.

Grant selection and notification take place in February. The exact amount of each grant will be determined after the event in April. Checks will be mailed by the end of October.

The Art in the Square Executive Board will closely monitor and follow all COVID-19 related requirements as set forth by local, county, state, and federal health agencies. They are optimistic that it will be possible to have a festival in late April. The final decision will be made by the end of January 2022.

Selected beneficiaries will be assigned six Art in the Square volunteer slots at notification. Those selected as beneficiaries will be asked to provide 6 adult volunteers to work three shifts during Art in the Square. Each shift requires 2 volunteers for 3-4 hours.
