City of Edmonton
Grants of up to $2,000 to Alberta nonprofit pet rescue organizations in eligible locations for animal rescue efforts. Funding is intended to support activities such as spay and neutering, microchipping, training, vaccinations, surgeries, and dental care that may increase the chances of rescue animals being adopted. Eligible applicants are in Edmonton.

Animal(s) that benefit from ARF grant funding should meet at least one of the following criteria:
A rescue organization can apply for an ARF grant that will benefit multiple animals. However, only animals that came into the care of the rescue organization during the previous year or current year will qualify for the ARF grant funds.

For each grant application, a rescue organization may apply for up to $2,000.00 of funding.
Any ARF grant funding that has not been spent by December 1 must be paid back to the City of Edmonton.
