Grants to Texas qualified organizations in eligible locations to improve health care for underserved populations. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting a proposal. Priority funding is intended for programs related to mental health. Proposals will be considered for activities targeting child and adolescent mental health issues through education, identification/screening, and treatment. Eligible organizations serve the greater Houston area.
The Healthcare & Nursing Education Foundation (HNEF) Community Healthcare Grants program provides direct financial assistance to qualified organizations dedicated to improving healthcare in the greater Houston community. Specifically, the grants program targets support for the care of individuals in underserved areas of the community and/or underserved populations, and for the creation of new models for the delivery of healthcare.
