Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for healthcare programs that benefit underserved populations. Priority funding is intended for programs related to mental health, and proposals will be considered for activities targeting child and adolescent mental health issues through education, identification/screening, and treatment. Eligible organizations serve the greater Houston area: Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Montgomery, and Waller counties.
The purpose of the program is to promote the development of new approaches to healthcare delivery, particularly for underserved populations and individuals in underserved areas of the community. Grants will be awarded to agencies seeking any of the following:

The selection committee anticipates awarding four or five grants for 2021.
Grant requests of approximately $50,000 will be considered.
Grant funds will be distributed in January 2021 and must be utilized in 2021.
