Grants to Kenosha, Wisconsin nonprofit organizations, groups, and agencies for programs and projects that positively impact the lives of girls, women, and their families. Applicants should demonstrate how their initiative will directly enhance the lives of local women and girls.

The Susan B. Anthony – Women of Influence Awards Dinner is held annually to award women for
their service to the greater Kenosha community. This event is made possible through the efforts of
the Kenosha Women’s Network, AAUW — Kenosha Branch, and Tempo Kenosha, as well as our
generous sponsors: the Kenosha Community Foundation Women’s Fund and the Southeast
Wisconsin Labor Times.

A portion of the monies raised through this event will be awarded to nonprofit groups, agencies,
and organizations for special projects and programs that directly impact girls and/or women and
their families. Through a grant application process, the SBA-WOI Award Committee will select the
grant recipients. Previous grant awards have exceeded $2,000 and are based upon funds raised
during the event. This event will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Madrigrano Marina
Shores, Kenosha.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants are nonprofit groups, agencies, and organizations operating in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Pre-Application Information:

- Applications must be received by the SBA Award Committee no later than end of business on Friday, December 6, 2019.
- The SBA-WOI Awards Committee will review all applications prior to January 2020.
- Awardees will be contacted upon determination.

Applicants may be asked to appear before the committee or provide additional detailed information in written or verbal form.

If selected, representatives from your organization will be expected to attend and help promote the 2020 Susan B. Anthony – Women of Influence Awards Dinner through event ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, and possible other assistance for the event, which will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020.

Requested funds will not be allocated for wages or general overhead.
