Grants of up to $5,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations and government entities serving children and families in eligible locations for capacity-building projects. Applicants must attend an online or in-person information workshop prior to applying. Funding is intended to improve the quality and accessibility of services and supports to children and families. Eligible organizations address the needs of residents in Hillsborough County.

Technical Assistance Grants are intended to assist nonprofits aligned with CBHC focus areas in building their capacity through strategic activities that strengthen their ability to operate effectively over the long term. Appropriate capacity building activities/services should focus on improving internal infrastructure in the areas of:
Appropriate activities include, but are not limited to, technology support upgrades, staff development, equipment or curriculum, marketing plan, board development/training, strategic or sustainability planning, or costs associated with conference attendance or training.
