Grants to California nonprofit organizations to support community needs. Funding is intended for projects and programs in the focus areas of youth, education, seniors, and local impact. Applicants must describe how funds will be used locally as well as the expected broad-based impacts of the funds. Programs must serve residents of Gilroy.
The Gilroy Rotary Club is interested in proposals that have:
A Special Function/Program - A specific end result or program or project
A Broad-Based Impact - the contribution must reach a large segment of the Gilroy community, and
High Visibility for Gilroy Rotary - if possible and appropriate, the applicant that receives a contribution must agree to publicize the Gilroy Rotary name or symbol as part of the program, activity, etc.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
To receive a charitable contribution from the Gilroy Rotary Club, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Local - the funds must be used locally, and
- Charitable - must be an organization, not an individual, that is clearly philanthropic in nature.
No money will be given to any charitable organization for scholarships.
Grant money should not be used for general operations, salaries, administrative and maintenance costs.
Completed applications (and Compliance Forms if applicable) must be received by Tuesday November 13, 2023.
