Grants to Massachusetts organizations for marketing and events that foster tourism in eligible regions. The purpose of the program is to attract out-of-town visitors and stimulate economic development in local communities. Eligible activities are intended to promote tourism in Provincetown.
Funds are to be used to market an event that brings visitors to Provincetown for the purpose of enhancing the Town's economy. Funding will be awarded to events promoting and enhancing the shoulder/winter-seasons.
Examples of reimbursable items: Advertising (newspaper/magazine, broadcasting, digital, social media, etc.); Creative fees for flyers, invitations, posters, ads, etc.; Website development to promote the event; Public relations for the event; Consultant fees related to marketing the event are reimbursable.
Matching Marketing Grants
Funds are to be used to provide marketing through advertising and/or the creation and production of other forms of marketing for the purpose of enhancing Provincetown's economic base.
Examples are: Advertising (newspaper/magazine, broadcasting, digital display ads, social media, etc.); Creation of ads, press releases, digital and social media platforms, website development, etc.
