Grants to Texas and Western Louisiana nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that aim to enhance the quality of life of residents. Funding will specifically be provided for programs and projects in the areas of education, health, community and social services, cultural arts, and the humanities.

In addition to the above grants, the Foundation also provides in-kind grants on an ongoing basis. Each month, the Foundation's Employee-Owner Donations Committee meets to consider requests for assistance from hundreds of non-profits, schools, and worthy groups that are the hands and feet in the communities they serve. Initiatives and programs targeting education, hunger, and health are at the very core of the Foundation's passion. Brookshire Brothers may contribute gift cards, checks, product (in-kind support) or volunteers depending on the organization’s needs.
